Denisha Cartwright and Makayla Jackson led Minnesota State to a third-place finish in the women's team competiion with 57 points at the NCAA Division 2 Outdoor Championships at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich. They teamed with Ja'Cey Simmons and Rose Cramer to win the 4x100-meter relay in 44.29 seconds, with Cartwright winning the 100-meter hurdles in 13.35 seconds and Jackson prevailing in the 100-meter dash in 11.66 seconds. Jackson also took third in the long jump at 20-4.50 (6.21m), along with eighth in the 200 in 23.95. Cartwright was fourth in the 200 in 23.55 and seventh in the 100 in 11.94.
