Paige Hickson, a senior at Minnesota State, won the women's university/college pole vault by clearing a lifetime-best 14 feet (4.27m) on the first attempt at the 114th Drake Relays Presented by Xtream and Powered by Mediacom inside Drake Fieldhouse in Des Moines, Iowa. The competition was moved from outdoors to indoors as a result of inclement weather.
