Denisha Cartwright Champion Women's 100m Hurdles, 2nd Place 200m and 4x100m Relay, 4th Place 100m - NCAA D2 Outdoor Championships 2023

Denisha Cartwright, a junior at Minnesota State representing the Bahamas, won the women's 100-meter hurdles in a wind-aided 12.94 seconds at the NCAA Division 2 Championships at Neta and Eddie DeRose Thunderbowl Stadium in Pueblo, Colo. Cartwright also placed second in the 200-meter final in a wind-aided 23.10 seconds and contributed to Minnesota State securing second in the 4x100-meter relay in 44.21 seconds. She also finished fourth in the 100-meter final in a wind-aided 11.13 seconds. Cartwright, who became the seventh female athlete in Division 2 history to run sub-13 in the 100 hurdles under all conditions, contributed to the Mavericks placing second overall as a team with 57 points.
